Assessment Data
Achievement rankings use Arizona Department of Education school-level assessment workbooks for fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2025. The current methodology uses verified Grade 11 proficiency-band rows for ACT English Language Arts, ACT Mathematics, and AzSCI Science.
School Context Data
School identity, address, grade span, enrollment, race/ethnicity membership, virtual-status classification, locale, county, latitude, and longitude come from NCES Common Core of Data and NCES EDGE public school geocode files. Demographic percentages are suppressed when total enrollment is below 11.
Known Gaps
Economic-disadvantage context is intentionally left unavailable until a sufficiently complete Arizona source is verified. Some ADE school IDs are not yet matched to NCES; those unmatched IDs are tracked in the generated data artifact and raw data ledger.
Coverage in this release
The published data contains 585 school records, including 271 schools with an Achievement rank. Other records have no statewide rank because the available data does not meet the eligibility rules. Filters can display a smaller selection.
Assessment data year: 2025. Data artifact generated: 2026-05-05 (UTC). The generation date is when this site's data was assembled; it is not the date students took the assessments. There are 15 unmatched ADE school identifiers recorded in the export; an unmatched identifier is not necessarily a distinct currently open school.
